When I was five years old, my mother passed away. It was the hardest thing I ever had to go through at such a young age. Because of this, television and movie watching became my coping mechanism to escape my harsh reality and very real pain. I did not start acting until my sophomore year in high school where I was introduced to Drama Class. I loved this class because it granted me the opportunity to become someone else even if it was for a moment. My classmates loved my performances, and it gave me hope that I could do something with my acting. I had the same experience when I attended Kenned-King College in my Mini-Cam and Video Editing Class and my time at Columbia College Chicago, where I received my Bachelor's Degree in Acting.
